"Inspire 2011" is a unique event that focuses on mentoring Italian-Canadian youth in the GTA. The event, held on June 25th at the Columbus Centre was a huge success. The event's focus is to provide the youth (ages 18-24) a platform of mentorship from high-profile Italian-Canadian professionals.

The unexpected always hurts more. The tears of Rick Campanelli's father during the Inspire 2011 touched the hearts of everyone — more so the many young people who participated at the event. In those tears there was the pride and emotion of a father that immigrated many years ago from the region of Marche and saw his son become successful in a foreign country while holding on to the values instilled in him from when he was a child.
