Students can now apply for Inspire bursaries

The team behind the successful Inspire speaker series is launching its latest round of student bursaries. Four bursaries, ranging in value from $500 to $1,000, will provide financial assistance for up to 12 students for the 2013-14 academic year.

On June 2, the third annual INSPIRE 2013 was held at Montecasino Hotel & Event Venue in Toronto. The event continues to provide a forum where stories of inspiration are shared and the lives of youth are positively impacted.

The unexpected always hurts more. The tears of Rick Campanelli's father during the Inspire 2011 touched the hearts of everyone — more so the many young people who participated at the event. In those tears there was the pride and emotion of a father that immigrated many years ago from the region of Marche and saw his son become successful in a foreign country while holding on to the values instilled in him from when he was a child.
