Alex Rechichi is President and Co-Founder of Extreme Brandz, parent company of Extreme Pita, Mucho Burrito, PurBlendz and soon a fourth concept ViaCibo with over 300 franchised restaurants across North America and opening restaurants internationally in 2012. Alex is a graduate of Queen's University with more than 15 years' experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry. In 1997 he left a prosperous sales and marketing career to fulfill a dream to build a uniquely successful food retail organization – Extreme Brandz parent was the answer
Extreme Brandz was awarded in 2011 the "Company of the Year" award by Foodservice and Hospitality. In 2008, Alex personally has been awarded the Caldwell Partners Prestigious "Top 40 under 40" award, in 2006 the Foodservice and Hospitality's "Entrepreneur of The Year", and the ICCO Next Generation Award. Extreme Pita has been recognized as one of the top 100 leading global franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine. Today Alex's focus is on the strategic development of the Mucho Burrito and Extreme Pita organization and he oversees international development of both brands. By July 31st, 2012, both Extreme Pita and Mucho Burrito have planned openings in UK and the Middle East.
Alex Rechichi and his partners are working to form a charitable foundation called Extremepitacares.com a charity focused on bettering the lives of children through Education, Health and Sports. Alex is Married to wife Anita and they have 3 children Alexandra (7), Isabella (5) and Dante (3).
